We work in the core areas of Human-Computer Interaction and Information Visualization. We use methodologies from, and contribute to a wide range of disciplines, including Design, Human Factors, Perception, Education, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Art, Computer Science, Philosophy and Sociology.

Our mission

We aim at creating a mutually supportive community of researchers that allows us to learn and grow together while we design, build and study technology that helps people, society and the world at large. We are curious about the interplay between people, technology and the world and passionate about using that knowledge to contribute new ideas and technologies.

Our Core Values

Respect: Everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
Equity: We will treat everyone in the group in a fair manner according to their individual needs and people will have equal access to opportunities.
Diversity: Everyone is different, differences enrich our work and our lives, and result in better outcomes.
Integrity: We operate with respect to the truth, the law and ethical norms.
Collaboration: We achieve greater things by working together.
