I’m a Master’s Student under the supervision of Dr. Regan Mandryk. In general, I’m interested in examining the space computers occupy in our lives, the ways they have changed how we behave and interact, and how we can design them to support human wellbeing. I just finished a BSc. in cognitive science and computer science from Mount Allison University, where I also developed a background in philosophy, linguistics, and AI. I love interdisciplinary work, and pull from a variety of perspectives and methods in my work. I’m originally from St. John’s, NL, so the ocean is close to my heart and I love to spend time by the water. In my free time I also like to read, hike, play music, and, yes, play video games. On occasion, I practice beading (very poorly) and knitting.
