A Map of Why

Looking for: Undergraduate Student, MSc Student

Map of Why is a tool for mapping out how your daily to-do list items contribute to your ultimate life values (https://adambinks.me/map-of-why/). The tool has two goals:

G1. Reflection: Help you identify actions that are aligned with your values.

G2. Motivation: Make it exciting and fulfilling to perform value-aligned actions.

This project involves any or multiple of the following (depending on time and scope):

  1. Extending the Map of Why webapp implementation to support additional features
  2. Designing and running a user study. This could evaluate whether Map of Why achieves these goals, and what kinds of value/action structures people choose to externalise.
